The stale user state was flushed from the system at 11:53 GMT. Right now we are tightening our monitoring of this eventuality and planning improvements to make it impossible in future.

We are currently acting to resolve an issue where some presence users are still marked as present in a channel when they have in fact disconnected.

Upon resolution, the appropriate events and webhooks will fire for all the users being marked as no longer present, so your views of the state of your presence channels should be brought up to date and remain consistent with the data we have.
