We’ll be working on some scheduled Beams maintenance next week in order to complete an infrastructure upgrade which will result in even better support for the highest notifications performance and scaling.
Maintenance will be carried out on Monday 08 November 2021 between 06:30AM - 06:40AM (UTC).
Our tests show that this activity should have a minor impact on your service and we anticipate that down time will last for no longer than 10 minutes. If you see any unusual behaviour or higher error levels, this maintenance is likely to be the reason.
How will this impact my service?
- Publishing: We would recommend you avoid scheduling critical broadcast notifications in this window as publication is likely to be impacted. - Subscribers: Our iOS and Android client SDKs will automatically retry any devices which attempt to register during this maintenance period. If you are using the Beams Web SDK, registrations may need to be retried on the client side where registration occurs in response to a user action. In order to do this you can make a new request for the browser to allow notifications.
